The writing style was good as always, I like the way Megan sets up her stories but this book didn't grab me as much as I hoped for.
I think this is mainly because I didn't feel connected to the MC's. I still don't know anything about Menkel apart from how he looks like. Also I miss knowing what happened just after Menkel and Sean zapp away on their first meeting. The next thing we see is a moping Sean because Menkel doesn't pay him any attention.

It is Einn that claims the spotlight. To me he felt like the most fleshed out character. As it says this is the first in a series I hope we will see all the guys again in the next book. Because I am left behind with some questions.
